Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrive in Switzerland – Interlaken
After you land in Zurich, you will be taking a train to the town of Interlaken. Check in to your hotel, after which you can spend the rest of the day at your own pace.
Interlaken – Jungfraujoch
On your second day, board a train from Interlaken Ost to Grindelwald, from where you can take a cogwheel train to the top of Jungfraujoch and the viewing point in the Bernese Alps, situated at an altitude of 3,454 meters. Take in the view of the Aletsch Glacier, the biggest glacier in the Alps, and visit the Ice Palace. Spend the night at your hotel in Interlaken.
Interlaken - Mt. Rigi – Zermatt
The third day will be dedicated to an excursion to Mt. Rigi. Board a train to Lucerne and then take a ferry to Vitznau. Ride up Mt. Rigi on Europe's first-ever mountain railway and get back on a cable car to Weggis. Check out of your hotel and take a train to Zermatt. Spend the evening at leisure.
Zermatt – Gornergrat – Matterhorn
The Gornergrat Railway will take you 3089 m above sea level to to Gornergrat. Take in the breathtaking view of the Matterhorn, Switzerland's most famous peak. Get back to your hotel later in the day.
Zermatt – Rhine Falls – Zurich
Take a train from Zermatt to Zurich. Post checking in to your hotel, use your Swiss Pass to proceed to the Rhine Falls, which is the biggest waterfall in Europe.
Depart from Zurich
Check out from your hotel and head to the airport to board your flight back home.
